McMaster University, David Braley Health Sciences Centre is a six-story, 192,000 square foot facility that houses 4,000 students throughout the year and is the home to Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine’s Department of Family Medicine. The facility is also open to the public for community events and has a café, public meeting, and lounge space. It is a base for major research and education initiatives by McMasters Faculty of Health Sciences. The facility was designed by Norr Architects of Toronto and constructed by Ball Construction of Kitchener, Ontario. Archmill House provided the millwork for the lecture hall, wall paneling, offices, and student classrooms.
