This McDonalds location, located in rural Dryden, ON, was scheduled to be fully closed for a total renovation. This location was completed at the maximum capacity of our Rapid Reimage team, with the location only being closed for 29 days out of the 40 day project timeline.

The construction was a unique challenge for our team as we brought in vendors to the remote location to work around the clock. We completed framing, concrete pouring, a roof upgrade and a brand new HVAC system installation.

The Rapid Reimage team also installed a brand new freezer at the back of the location by digging down to the frost lines in order to build in footings and walls before finally pouring a concrete slab.

THE CHALLENGE

Dryden is the second-largest city in the Kenora District of northwestern Ontario, Canada, located on Wabigoon Lake. It is roughly four hours from the nearest large city which created some logistic issues for not only the teams travelling but for our vendors and their construction materials.
